Floral Cluster Sash

A Few weeks ago I posted this over at the Ribbon Retreat.  It is a simple way to dress up a simple dress for any holiday!
I love making my little miss a new dress for the holidays but sometimes I just done have time.  So I buy a new frilly dress from Costco or Sam's Club and personalize it a bit.  So whether you buy a dress or make one you can make it fancy with just a few flowers!

Long Lasting Curls- Video Tutorial

A few months ago I attended a blog conference, SNAP! while at the conference I did my hair in wavy curls.  I was approached by several other blogger ans asked how I got my hair so curly and bouncy.  A lot of them thought it was natural.  But it is not!  My hair is as straight as it comes.  As a child my hair would not hold any curl.  no Curling Iron, hot rollers, perms nothing! I finally found  Caruso curlers in High school that would curl my hair and it would stay for most of the day.  But never 2 days.  So when I found my Evolution curling wand I was in heaven.

Patriotic Hair Bows

Today I am sharing a fun and easy hair bow that is perfect for any time of year but especially for the 4th of July!  Every 4th I dress my kids super patriotic.  The boys usually get some sort of T- shirt and hat while little miss gets whatever my mind has come up with.  Skirts, shirts, hats, knickers, I get creative!  You can check out this post for 15 clothing items to wear for the 4th

This year the Ribbon Retreat asked me to come up with something for the 4th and I was excited to get my hands on some Diamond Mesh.  It comes by the yard and about 4 inches wide. It is perfect to use for bows, headbands or to hand stitch on to clothing.

Easy DIY Knit Headband

I was at Joann's the other day.  There were 2 teenage girls buying knit fabric.  I asked them what they were going to make.  They showed me a headband they had purchased and figured they could make them.  So I took a look at the headband, gave them a few sewing tips and off they went to make their headbands.  I started thinking and decided to make a few of my own. These headband are super simple.  And stylish too.  I have even teamed up with Ashley over at Flats to Flip Flops to show you how to fashion your head band.

Mini Anthropologie knock off skirt

Anthropologie had this beautiful lace skirt at Christmas time.  But not in my budget and they didn't make them for little girls. I though my little miss needed one too.

Poinsettia Hair Flower

For Christmas in 2012 I made my little miss a Knock off Anthropologie lace skirt. I wanted to add a little more drama so I came up with this Poinsettia hair flower.  It added color and a little more Christmas spirit.  Nothing says Christmas little a Poinsettia, right???

It is simple, beautiful and added a bit of elegance to her outfit.
