Snap Re-Cap and a free Printable

A few weeks ago I attended SNAP! Conference.  A Blog conference for Craft and DIY bloggers.  The weekend conference is is filled with amazing Sponsors, classes to teach you just about anything related to blogging and networking with an amazing group of bloggers. To say this conference was amazing this year is an understatement. To recap my thoughts and experiences I have documented it here and made a free printable to share will all of you,  So please read on and enjoy the printable!

Over the course of 3 days I stayed up late like I was a college girl, ate delicious food I didn't have to make, made new friends, hugged old friends and partied like it was 1985. I got to meet one of my favorite people.  He even held my hand. Eeekk! Alex Boye' is amazing. His story, his dance moves and even his bald head.

Royal Design Studio Stencil Review & Closet Makeover

closet makeover tag

These past few weeks have been crazy busy for me.  My kids have been out of school for spring break and that alone makes life crazy. I have had an itch to work on my closet.  It is crazy unorganized, dark and blah. It is huge and can fit 2 full sized mattresses end to end.  Let me also say “I am a blogger and I am unorganized”.  There I said it.  I may need an 8 step program or something.  I am a blogger and I am unorganized. My house is rarely tidy.  I have 4 kids and projects to do. Much more fun than walking around with a dish cloth in my hand all ..day…long. Bless those of you who do.  I am just not that type of person. I would like to be but not enough to give up what makes me happy!  So onto my unorganized closet… and a giveaway!

Bloggers Night {Swagger}

For Bloggers night this month we were able to meet Chantel, the owner of Swagger.  Swagger is a local clothing boutique that also has an online store.  We had a blast trying on clothes, our own personal fashion show. She has lots of adorable clothes and jewelry to choose from. I love the  unique style she sells and knowing that not everyone will be wearing  the same thing.

Our Idaho Bloggers Guild nights prove to be fun and relaxing nights.  I love these gals and look forward to my evenings with them.  Thanks Ladies and Thank you Swagger for letting us shop the night away!

House Party {Shutterfly}

I feel so lucky to have been chosen by HouseParty.com to host the More Merry Shutterfly House party.   House party is a website where you can host parties for your favorite products.  I was so lucky to host a Shutterfly Party.  I have been working on my Daughters Baby Book and was going to have it printed for her for Christmas. This was a great opportunity to have it printed with a great company and a quality product.
I invited a bunch of my Friends and Neighbors to enjoy what Shutterfly has to offer.
It all started with my Party box that arrived a week before the party.  Filled with balloons, napkins, sample cards and free photo book coupons for all the attendees.

Using the Shutterfly design creator I was able to upload photos and drop them into the location I wanted, add text and embellish with stylish flowers, buttons and ribbons.

For Christmas this year my Little Miss is getting her baby book and our Christmas card are being printed with Shutterfly! Shutterfly has some great ideas for Personalized Christmas gifts.  Make someone happy in your life.  Give them Shutterfly.
Thank you Shutterfly and House Party for making my Christmas a little Bit Merrier!

As an Idaho Blogger I miss out on a lot of the Fun bloggy things. In Utah they meet at least once a month sometimes more. they do in other parts of the county where there are a high concentration of bloggers.  Thank heavens we have an East Idaho bloggers guild. Miss Makenzie from Girl Loves Glam finds great opportunities for all of use to share in.

Last month we meet with the Guys from Expressions Vinyl. (Yes I said guys and yes it is 2 men) What a great company.  There operation is the bomb.  Low over head, great prices and lots of wonderful vinyl products to choose from. It was so fun to peruse all of the vinyl. So many pretty colors and prints to choose from.

The taught us about there shop, what they do and shared a few tips.  Then the fun part.  A project just for us.  They took each of our logos and turned them into vinyl to use on there new tumbler cups.

Bloggers Guild Night {Poppy Seed Projects}

During the month of July I attended the first Idaho Bloggers Guild Meeting.  What a fantastic night!  I had so much fun with Holly (My Sister's Suitcase), Ashley (Flats to Flip Flops) and Makenzie (Girl Loves Glam).  I was so excited to meet these ladies.

Our first meeting was a craft night. Poppy Seed Projects sponsored our night.  We were sent a box full of projects goodies, 12x12 bracket boards and Texturizing Cream. So out came the paint, sponge brushes and chocolate of course.

We all had our own ideas for the project.  And they all turned out so different.

Here is my finished project.

 I started with Poppy Seeds Texture Cream.  Way cool stuff! After drying I used Martha Stewarts Yellow paint as my first layer (2 coats).  Next I applied my Vinyl (cut on my Silhouette). And last I applied 2 coats of Turquoise paint. Once my project was completely dry I removed my vinyl.  Give it a little scrub with some sand paper and your project is complete.  I absolutely love how it turned out. A bright pop of color for my mantel shelf. It matches my summer mantel printable perfect.  I didn't even plan it.

Sharing this night with these lovely ladies was wonderful. I can't wait to do it again.  Do you live in East Idaho??  Shoot me an email and I will add you to our Facebook Group.  We are trying to get together once a month.   We would love to add to our group.

A Big Thank you to Poppy Seed Projects. Please go over and check out there website.  There are so many adorable projects and gift ideas.  Our projects turned out super cute.  I even bought a few extras from Poppy Seed for my future projects.   Stay tuned for more to come.
