A few weeks ago I was asked to join in the Back to school fun over at the Ribbon Retreat. All of the bloggers were given a letter of the alphabet and asked to make something that went with that letter and back to school. I am so excited to be sharing the letter "L" with you in the Back to School Series. I had a few ideas for the letter "L". I finally decided on making a reusable Lunch bag. I have seen them on the web but this little bag is special. Why you ask? Because most of these tutorials use vinyl fabric from the store. I chose my own fabric to make this and used an awesome product called Thermo Web Iron on Vinyl. You can use whatever fabric you want and make it vinyl! It is so cool! I fell in love with this adorable alphabet fabric at the Ribbon Retreat and went to work.

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Office Depot, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #inspirestudents http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV
Have your kids gone back to school?? Mine still have a week at home but we are totally gearing up to get them their! New clothes, backpacks and school supplies are on the list! We think so much about getting our kids ready but today I wanted to share a little something for the teachers!
I love a great Teacher! I have a few I remember fondly. They helped me grow, learn who I am and became great inspirations in my life. So now as I watch my own kids head out to school I want to give a little back. With a little help from Office Depot and Photoshop I came up with this fun giving basket for a special teacher. Packed with school supplies just for him or her!

Free Teacher Appreciation Gift Card Printables
As the school year draws to a close, I find myself searching for a teacher gift. I want to do something for them that gives them an option. I like to give my teachers more than chocolate and Diet Coke. So this year I came up with 2 option. One for Ice Cream and the other for a Smoothie. Because everyone loves Ice Cream and smoothies. They are the perfect summer treat! So head out to your local Ice Cream Parlor or smoothie shop and get a couple gift cards for those amazing teachers you kids have had the privilege to learn from and print off the easy gift card holders to tell them THANK YOU!

Back to School Blast! Shopping List {Free Printable} + Giveaway
Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.
1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist - Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to the top.
I know its a little early to be thinking back to school. But I wanted to get this one up and going for all of you. Back to School Shopping is just around the corner. With 4 kids and a busy schedule I can never remember what I have or need for my kids.
I have boys who really don't like shopping and they don't really care what clothes they wear. (I am lucky we haven't hit that stage yet.) So I find that I do a lot of their shopping for school clothes when I am just out and about. I usually check out the sale racks each time I go shopping. The same for my daughter. The only problem, I have 4 kids and I can never remember sizes. Especially for shoes! The little buggers keep growing!
If your kids are like mine they are growing like weeds! I feel like I am always on the look out for a bigger size in clothing. So I search the internet for clothing suggestions for kids. I found this great article on wiki how. It gave some guidelines and suggestions for how many of each item to buy. For me some were over exaggerated. (My kids don't need 15 t-shirts) So to help keep track of what I have bought, and what we need, I put together these fun colorful printable's to help you keep track of what you have and what you need to buy. I have included a separate list for boys and girls. Pick the color you like and print. Be sure to follow the rules of my free printable usage!

Teachers are super important. Without them where would our children be? (Moms too!) They probably spend more time with our kids than we, as parents do. I made this printable to remind us of what a teacher is. They are all theses things and more. Thank you to all the teachers out there. Your patients and creativity in teaching our children is a appreciated.
