Beautiful skin with Skin Authority

I know its been a while since I have blogged. Sometimes you just have to take a break. Or find something you want to blog about.  Today's post is because I found something amazing to blog about.  I have been trying out a new skin product and love it! Skin Authority is my new go to skin care line!
Skin Authority

Here in Idaho it is cold and dry with 9 months of it.  My skin takes a beating and I still break out like a 16 year old girl!  I have tried everything. It is so frustrating.  I like the all natural approach to most things, especially skin care but I will try almost anything to soften up my skin and get rid of acne.  So when asked to try Skin Authority I gladly accepted!

TruMoo & Strawberry Pudding Pops

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TruMoo for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Strawberry Pudding Pops

Do you remember way back when you were a kid and Bill Cosby was telling us on TV to buy Pudding Pops?  I just loved those things.  They were the best creamy treat in the frozen food section! But alas one day they just disappeared, never return.
I miss them.
So I decided I would make my own.  Only today I am adding a little twist to make them a bit more healthy. They make great after school snacks, or for mom after she sends them all out the door and can enjoy one all to herself!

Reusable Lunch bags.

A few weeks ago I was asked to join in the Back to school fun over at the Ribbon Retreat. All of the bloggers were given a letter of the alphabet and asked to make something that went with that letter and back to school.  I am so excited to be sharing the letter "L" with you in the Back to School Series. I had a few ideas for the letter "L".  I finally decided on making a reusable Lunch bag.  I have seen them on the web but this little bag is special.  Why you ask?  Because most of these tutorials use vinyl fabric from the store. I chose my own fabric to make this and used an awesome product called Thermo Web Iron on Vinyl.  You can use whatever fabric you want and make it vinyl!  It is so cool! I fell in love with this adorable alphabet  fabric at the Ribbon Retreat and went to work.

Zours candy marshmallow popcorn snack www.freetimefrolics.com #zoursface #shop #recipe

When I was a kid I loved sour candy.  My friends and I would have a competition to see who could eat the most sour candy at once. Did you ever do that?  We would eat until our taste buds were dead. So when I had the opportunity to head out to my local Walmart to test out the new Zours® Candy by Mike & Ike, I said Heck yeah!! They come in the perfect sized box for movie snacks, purse treat or a park snack! The sweet and sour taste takes me right back to being a kid.

Patriotic Hair Bows

Today I am sharing a fun and easy hair bow that is perfect for any time of year but especially for the 4th of July!  Every 4th I dress my kids super patriotic.  The boys usually get some sort of T- shirt and hat while little miss gets whatever my mind has come up with.  Skirts, shirts, hats, knickers, I get creative!  You can check out this post for 15 clothing items to wear for the 4th

This year the Ribbon Retreat asked me to come up with something for the 4th and I was excited to get my hands on some Diamond Mesh.  It comes by the yard and about 4 inches wide. It is perfect to use for bows, headbands or to hand stitch on to clothing.

Pina Colada Smoothie with Carnation Breakfast Essentials

“This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Nestle, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia  #BreakfastEssentials http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Do you have a wake up and go routine??  I try most days to get up and go to the gym then come home and get my kids on the bus. We go to school crazy early.  The bus comes at 7:30.  So my kids have to be fairly responsible  and get up and get going  on there own.  I am one of those moms that who makes my kids do their own lunch and then they have to have a healthy breakfast.  Like Eggs and bagels kind of breakfast.  I find that my kids do better in school when they have a breakfast packed with protein.  So when Carnation Breakfast Essentials came to my home, I was ecstatic to find out that each serving has essential vitamins and  13 grams of protein!  And its so easy to make my 6 year does it on her own!

Light up your life with Super Bright LED's

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser.
Super Bright LEDs www.freetimefrolics.com #shop #LEDSavings

I have been super excited about sharing this post with you. I love my Super Bright LEDss Light Bulbs. But not as excited as my husband.  He is a total techie and loves to keep current with all things Technology. So today you are getting our first ever post from my husband. We are going to call it Chris' Corner. All things Technology! So with out further delay her you go!

Before I begin, I probably need to explain a little bit about my personality. I am by no means lazy, I believe in working hard and playing hard. But there are a few things that I absolutely hate and attempt to avoid at all costs. One of those is yard work. While I know plenty of people that enjoy a perfectly cut lawn, and gain a sense of accomplishment at gloriously sculpted bushes and flower beds. I personally feel that I am just going to have to start all over again next week. I would much rather replace my lawn with AstroTurf and cement then spend a minute doing yard work. (By the way do silk flowers last outside?)   Another of my hates is house maintenance. I dislike the fact that things break and wear out. It always seems to happen at the worst times too. Like the time I just paid for a family vacation and then the washer and dryer both died. Yeah, awesome. But, unfortunately as a home owner I have come to accept that I will constantly be forced to fix broken sprinklers, paint walls, replace disposals, water heaters, etc. It is because of my hate of home maintenance that I feel it no small victory when I am able to find a long term solution that requires absolutely no upkeep. For example, my patio is Trex and cement, my fence is vinyl and I purchase items with warranties as often as I can. (Not the extended warranties mind you, those are a rip). Anyway, when my wife was asked to write about this latest product I told her that I would do it. Not because she is over stressed and tired from  being an awesome wife and mother, but because this is actually a product that speaks to me. The product itself at first may not seem that remarkable, and that is probably why I wanted to share it instead of my wife. To understand why it is remarkable you have to understand really what it is and where it came from. The product is Super Bright LED light bulbs. Now if you think “LED power, big deal” then I hope you keep reading because it is a big deal.

Are you ready to Getaway Today? A Disneyland Vacation!

A few years ago our family took a a little Disneyland Getaway. Our boys were 5 and 7 and the Little miss was only 1.  My Dad thought it would be fun to take us all with my brother and sisters for a grand vacation.  We started the planning process and found Getaway Today to help us plan our Disneyland Adventure Vacation.

Rainbow Easter Bunny Bait {Free Printable}

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser.

Do you read the about pages for bloggers?  Well if you read mine you would see that one of my favorite treats are Skittles and Starbursts!  I love them. Because of my food allergies I have a hard time eating fruit.  So to get that #VIPFruitFlavors I crave, I eat Skittles and Starbursts. I totally eat mine by color.  Quirky, I know. How do you eat yours?  I start with my least favorite flavor (Green apple, Lime was much tastier) and end with the Strawberry, my favorite.  So with Easter approaching I thought it would be fun to create an adorable printable for the Easter Bunny and tag it with my favorite treat! Rainbow Easter Bunny Bait.

Well at Walgreens for my Allergy Issues

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and it's client. All health related suggestions and opinions expressed in this post are my own. #WellAtWalgreens #shop #CollectiveBias

Are you an allergy sufferer? For my family allergies are right around the corner.  Besides being allergic to many fruits and veggies I suffer from terrible spring allergies.  They only last 3 months but they are are really tough to deal with.  I find myself having to start my allergy regimen a few weeks before the season starts.
Because my kids are all different ages we have a lot of allergy needs in the house. To fill all those needs I headed to my one stop shop, Walgreens. They carry the #WellAtWalgreens brand.  Same Allergy medications as the name brands at a better price!  Just what I need.

The eggs, pancakes, meat, juice, all of it. But sometimes the calories and sugar don't really fit into my diet. So when I was asked to try Jimmy Dean Delights I said "Heck Yeah"!

Do you love gum? I have since I was a kid. My Dad use to bring me home a pack of sugary grape gum everyday when I was little. Grape was my favorite. Thank heavens for Wrigley's Extra Sugar free gum! Yummy, long lasting flavor that won't kill your teeth. I love this stuff. I keep one in every bag and cup holder.

So when your at your Local Walmart and grab a few packs at the check out and use some for holiday gifts, stocking stuffers or Mistletoe Kisses! Today I want to share a few ways you can create and share with Extra gum this holiday season!
