Superhero Valentine {Classroom Valentine}

Valentines wouldn't be complete without a Super Hero Valentine.  I found these cute stretchy superhero's at Zurchers.  They are perfect for adding a tag and giving away for Valentines day. 

Totally Tubular {Classroom Valentine}

I am a total 80"s girl.  I loved neon tank tops and biker shorts.  I had bangs that reached for the skies and a terrible perm. 

I spoke like an 80's girl saying things like "Totally Awesome", "Totally Tubular" "Gag me with a Spoon", and "Don't have a Cow Man". 

Some of my favorite memories as a kid were playing Cabbage patch, Transformers and watching He-Man, She-rah and J.E.M on T.V.  We teased my brother relentlessly because his initials were J,E.M.  He was not as pleased with our teasing. 

Fast forward to 2014 and my kids love watching the same shows on Netflix.  As a matter of fact I showed my daughter this Valentine and she asked why J.E.M was on the Valentine. I just love that girl!  

I found these awesome test tubes filled with gumballs at Sam's Club and just had to have them.  They cost $10 for 24 of them.  Super cheap.  Most of these treat tubes are a dollar a piece.  So this is a total bargain. I grabbed myself a couple and made up this fun printable for your kids to share with there friends at school for the lovey holiday.

I'd be Delighted to be your Valentine {Classroom Valentine}

For this Valentine I wanted something you could use for a class party.  These are perfect for the kids to have along with their class treats.  You can pick up a case of  Sunny Delight from Sam's Club for about $6. Add the printable below and your are ready to go.

Last summer my husband went to Taiwan for a business trip.  He brought back my daughter a beautiful fan.  She loved to play with it.  Because of where it came from and the money it cost I wanted her to keep it nice.  But she insisted on playing with it.  Until I found these cheap fans at Zurchers.  So I bought a bag for $2 and let her play to her hearts content.  

Now it's Valentines season and I though they might be a fun thing to give to her little girl friends at school for her Valentine.  So I made this easy printable to tie to them.  Because every little girl needs a fan, right?

No Bones about it...You're Top Dog {Classroom Valentine}

My daughter has a love of animals.  Sometimes she wants to pretend she is a dog and have dog treats.  In comes Scooby Graham crackers shaped like dog bones.  She loves them. So I thought it would be fun to make her some Scooby snacks to share with her Valentines this year.  You can buy them in a large box and bag them or buy the individual bags and add the tag.  Super simple and not quite so full of sugar! You can also buy individually packaged bags of Scooby snacks in a 12 pack at your local Walmart.

I "Toad"ally like you {Classroom Valentine}

It's that time of year.  I love making Valentines for my kids.  I try to find a non candy or healthier version to send.  This one totally does both!  You can make a candy version of a toy version.

Frog Valentine 

I started with my printable below.  Then decide what you want to send.  I found gummy frogs at a local gas station. put a few in a bag and add the tag!  Super simple.

Put a little "Zing" in your Holiday Neighbor gift

This year for Neighbors I have been trying to think outside the box and come up with a few new ideas.  Today I am sharing an easy one.  All you need to do is print the tag and buy a few Hostess Zingers!  Thanks Hostess for bringing Zingers Back to the stores! So bring add a little Zing to your neighbors holiday!

Young Women Youth Theme 2014 Printable Scripture

Recently the LDS church announced the new theme for the youth.  It is Moroni 10:32. "Yea, com unto Christ, and be perfected in Him, and deny yourself of all ungodliness."  I took the scripture and made an 8x10 printable to hang in our classrooms for the girls use each Sunday.  Please feel free to Print for your own group. With 4 colors to choose from you can't go wrong.

Do you love gum? I have since I was a kid. My Dad use to bring me home a pack of sugary grape gum everyday when I was little. Grape was my favorite. When I was 5 I had to have silver caps put on my teeth because of cavities. Probably from the grape gum every day. As I got older I changed my tune from Grape to sugar free peppermint and spearmint. Use gum to decorate a dollar store frame.

Add caption

Use the gum sticks to create a a picture from the using a dollar store and some glue.

Start with yoru gum and dollar store frame.
Use Hot glue to place gum.
Flip over and trim excess gum
make a flower or accessory to trim it out.

Share a bouquet of flowers for your "Extra" special person.

LDS Youth Cirriculum Thank you Ideas

With the new youth Curriculum in the LDS Church, the youth are asked to teach a lesson one Sunday  Month if possible.  In my Presidency we decided a Thank you was in order.  Planning these lessons take time and planning.  We appreciate all the girls who plan and share there lessons.  So I came up with this cute thank you card paired with a yummy candy bar.

Another thing our youth are expected to do is speak in church during sacrament meeting.  We rotate through our youth.  Every week there is one girl and one boy. So in our ward the girls speak at least twice a year some more.  So as a small thank you I made this Easy printable with two choices.  Each one is paired with a mini candy bar.  Make up a bunch with a few different choices of candy bars. (Pick up a few extra bags of candy at Halloween)
