Cherry Limeade Concentrate {Recipe}

So after posting about my Strawberry Lemonade Concentrate I decide it was time to try my hand at Cherry Limeade.  I loved cherry limeade as a kid and I love myself a good Lime Rickie.  So I bought a lot of Cherries and Lime Juice and busted out a few bottles!

Can you see all that yummy pulp?  It's the best part for me!
Want to make a yummy batch for yourself?  Check out how I made mine!

Freshly Picked Moccasin {Giveaway}

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hey friends, it's Cassia from My Mommy Style and I'm so thrilled to be posting at these two amazing blogs, Smitten By and Free Time Frolics. I am a mommy to a 3 year old and twin 11 month olds. Some days I want to drown myself in diet coke, but mostly it's pretty dang awesome! (However, I do keep a bottle stashed in case of emergency!)

When my first little chompie started to crawl, his poor little feet would get all scuffed up and rubbed raw. So I purchased a fairly well-know and not cheap brand of shoes that completely covered his foot but A) he could still pull them off and B) they were so lame! They had all sorts of goofy little characters on them, which as a general rule, I hate. And the ones that were plain, were well...plain! BLAH. We used them anyway, but I wasn't thrilled. However, now that I have twins (one of which is RUNNING all over the place) I absolutely do not have time to constantly be putting the shoes back on their feet after they rip them off every 2 seconds and I just want them to be comfy but most importantly CUTE. Yes, that is MOST important...beauty above all else.

Now, it was impossible not to notice the adorable moccs on Kourtney Kardashian's babies. Suddenly, I just had to have them...jeez, am I so easily influenced?

(I may or may not be an avid follower of the Kardashians. Don't judge.**but seriously, I love her style.)

Admittedly, I was reserved because of the price point...but then I remembered, I paid at least $40 for a pair of shoes that I didn't even like! And now, after receiving a couple pairs to let my twins romp around in, I can honestly say, I'm completely smitten!

They are so soft, stylish, amazing quality and my bambinos love them. (um...please make some for me now.) A little hard to put on, but I can't actually complain about that, because that's why they STAY on.

Freshly Picked Moccs have become a fast fave. It's a if-you-don't-know, now-you-know type of deal.

But I have to say, what ultimately won me over was when I read up a little more on the Freshly Picked crew.

I love small businesses and like to support them whenever I get a chance. Mommies helping mommiess is my absolute favorite and this is a company you definitely want to give your hard-earned money to. Susan Peterson, who runs Freshly Picked, has two kids and, with her team, makes each pair of moccasins by hand out of her home in Utah. She is constantly working on improving her products and making sure they are "durable, well-designed" and stay on our little's feet; and I love that she is a mom and used her son as a tester. She even has a video on her blog where she encourages entrepreneurs to follow their dreams and conveys how she balances her life as a mother and a business owner. Knowing a bit of her story makes me love this company even more, and makes me want to support other companies like this. Helping and supporting each other, as mothers, is what it is all about.

So, guess what? Not only are our three awesome blogs telling you about this awesome company, but thanks to the generosity of Freshly Picked

TWO of you lucky readers will get a chance to win a pair and see for yourself!

In the mean time, if you thought this post would be without photos of my darling littles (I'm not a bit biased!), you were sorely mistaken. And since I get asked all of the time how I manage shopping with twins and a toddler, I'll show ya how we roll.
I LOVE the huge shopping carts at Sam's! I wish every grocery store had a few of these.
In the month or so that my babes have been rocking these moccs, I couldn't even begin to tell you how many times I've been asked where I got their adorable shoes!

DIY Woven Bracelets

I was taking a leisurely walk around Joanns a few weeks ago and discovered they had this amazing braided trim on the mini bolts in the trim section.  I loved the color and searched for a few more.  They were the perfect colors for a spring bracelet.  Add a little of this and a little of that and voile you have some funky bright colored bracelets for summer! Check out how I did them.

Creamy Chicken & Pasta {Recipe}

I love a quick, easy meal that I can throw together for dinner.  Even better when I pull it our of the freezer and bake.  I love making Cheesy Chicken & Pasta for my family and adding a fresh veggie and french bread or biscuit. This recipe can be made the same day or doubled and half placed in the freezer for later! Here is how I made it.

Easy DIY Knit Headband

 I was at Joann's the other day.  There were 2 teenage girls buying knit fabric.  I asked them what they were going to make.  They showed me a headband they had purchased and figured they could make them.  So I took a look at the headband, gave them a few sewing tips and off they went to make their headbands.  I started thinking and decided to make a few of my own. These headband are super simple.  And stylish too.  I have even teamed up with Ashley over at Flats to Flip Flops to show you how to fashion your head band.

Easy Homemade Honey Butter {Recipe}

So a while back I made these Homemade Fried Scones.  Probably the best recipe I have ever found for Utah Scones. So this time I am sharing my delicious homemade honey butter to go with them or on a thick piece of homemade wheat bread.
