 I have a son going into junior high this year so I thought it was a great opportunity to do something for him.  So after days of thought. Yes days... We are talking the dreaded Junior high where nothing is right and from day to day, his mood and attitude is a mystery.  I finally came up with something that her wouldn't be embarrassed by!

 A while back I saw a drop waist dress that I loved.  I cost way to much money and I wanted it a different color. I have always loved the 20's drop waist style. So I made this fun drop waist lace and tricot skirt.

When I was a kid I loved sour candy.  My friends and I would have a competition to see who could eat the most sour candy at once. Did you ever do that?  We would eat until our taste buds were dead. So when I had the opportunity to head out to my local Walmart to test out the new Zours® Candy by Mike & Ike, I said Heck yeah!! They come in the perfect sized box for movie snacks, purse treat or a park snack! The sweet and sour taste takes me right back to being a kid.
