Goal Setting and To Do List Printable

Over the past few months I have really been thinking about goal setting and how it can influence my life.  I have shared may a conversations with other about the topic.   I even shared my thoughts about the subject with my Young Women, and how important it can be when making long term plans and goals.  I have never really been a goal writer. It just isn't something I have ever really done.
A friend shared a study with me on the positive effects of goal setting.  Did you know that people who write there goals down are more likely to follow through?  And even more impressive is that when it comes to jobs and education those goal writers achieve higher grades and make upwards of 1o times form money than those who don't?  I was amazed at the statistic.
Then I heard Noelle Pikus Pace speak, she truly inspired me to want more!  I needed to decide what I really to achieve.  I came up with these free goal setting printable's to help me on my journey.

A while back I saw a drop waist dress that I loved.  I cost way to much money and I wanted it a different color. I have always loved the 20's drop waist style. So I made this fun drop waist lace and tricot skirt.

Zours candy marshmallow popcorn snack www.freetimefrolics.com #zoursface #shop #recipe

When I was a kid I loved sour candy.  My friends and I would have a competition to see who could eat the most sour candy at once. Did you ever do that?  We would eat until our taste buds were dead. So when I had the opportunity to head out to my local Walmart to test out the new Zours® Candy by Mike & Ike, I said Heck yeah!! They come in the perfect sized box for movie snacks, purse treat or a park snack! The sweet and sour taste takes me right back to being a kid.

Patriotic Hair Bows

Today I am sharing a fun and easy hair bow that is perfect for any time of year but especially for the 4th of July!  Every 4th I dress my kids super patriotic.  The boys usually get some sort of T- shirt and hat while little miss gets whatever my mind has come up with.  Skirts, shirts, hats, knickers, I get creative!  You can check out this post for 15 clothing items to wear for the 4th

This year the Ribbon Retreat asked me to come up with something for the 4th and I was excited to get my hands on some Diamond Mesh.  It comes by the yard and about 4 inches wide. It is perfect to use for bows, headbands or to hand stitch on to clothing.

LDS Youth June Lesson: Priesthood Keys

It has been a while since I posted an LDS Youth Curriculum printable so to go with my lesson today I made this one.  I truly believe that this church is the truest on the earth.  We have leaders that will not lead us astray. Ans though the members of the church are not always perfect, HIS gospel is perfect.  Being a true follower or Christ means having faith in his plan and putting our trust in those he has called.

Inspirational Graduation Gifts

Since last August I have been the Young Women's President for my ward.  For those not of the LDS Faith, I lead the teenage girls 12-18 in my ward.  I strive to bring them closer to Christ through weekly activities, temple trips, Sunday Lessons and friendship.  So this year for graduation gifts I decided to go a little more personal.
Earlier in the year I asked our girls to share a quote or thought. We had them write them down and we shared them with a less active girl in our ward. I remembered a few of the inspirational quotes and turned them into necklaces. With the help from Charming Sarabella's Etsy shop.

Summer Citrus Slush

A a youth I remember every big summer activity we had this drink that I just loved. We called it SLOP. It stood for Seven-up, lemonade, orange juice and Pineapple.  Put them all together and what do you get?  SLOP! You mix up the each ingredients and enjoy. So I decide to make it a yummy, cool slush that my kids can enjoy on a hot summer day.  I love mixing this up and freezing it in old Ice cream containers and keeping it for a few weeks.  This recipe isn't an exact match but it is delicious and perfect for those hot summer days!
